Delivery: FedEx handled the delivery. It was mostly on time, a day late. No pressure there.
Packaging: Considering the price point, I was extremely disappointed in the packaging. See photos. To be fair, my frustration lies with Accelerator, not Arlington. Arlington was exceptional from start to finish. I'm sure the catcher was blind shipped to me from a warehouse, but this should've been packaged MUCH better. The catcher is literally shipped in cheap cardboard, no padding, and will be exposed to the rigor that is shipping. My catcher came damaged on one of it's handles, and scratched/scuffed in random places. I was expecting a lot better.
Instructions: I think most would understand how the system is to be installed, but if you're a newbie, novice, or maybe even a professional, you will find that the instructions could use an upgrade.
Quality: Imo, it looks cheap. If you ask my wife? "It looks like a high schooler's first time at welding." There weren't many videos and or post of this catcher online, but what you did see, it seemed like a decent build. So, I took a chance. My main reasoning for this purchase was because it was one of the only brands that offered a 6.2 cu ft/ 5.0 bushels options for the Ferris 52" ICD deck.
Putting it to work: It did the job. I was actually impressed at how well it collected the yard waste. What would normally take you an hour or two with raking, definitely drops down to 10-15 minutes. The door to release the waste is easy to remove, but feels like it would damage easy after long term use.
Overall/Thoughts: Unless the craftsmanship is upgraded, I will not use this brand on my other mowers. Which is unfortunate, as the larger catcher is extremely helpful. I highly recommend the dust cover they suggest with the catcher. It will gather the waste, but it will leave a dust cloud like the Black Pearl. And quite frankly... for the price and quality of the catcher, the cover should be included.
