Stay protected on a horizontal lifeline or an elevated platform with this single lanyard that has captive carabiners and an integrated energy absorber. The amount of bulk is minimal thanks to the Absorbica's compact construction of polyester, nylon and steel. The lanyards's tearing of the energy absorber webbing limits the impact force on the user, and progressive tearing cuts down on the deceleration on users who don't weigh a lot. Two captive steel carabiners are included, along with a durable zippered fabric pouch to shield the absorber from abrasion or contaminants while allowing for regular inspection of the absorber.
