Lots of surprises!

After calling to make absolutely sure I was getting a “turn key” engine for my Exmark ( 742-3037) I am extremely disappointed. I was told the motor I wanted to purchase was not available although it was listed on the web site. I purchased what the salesperson said was the replacement (742-3051) motor. When I received the motor it was wired for a toro or Hustler mower). I called to talk to tech service and was transferred to the salesperson who said we needed an additional part ( which was not the correct part ) he also said that we would need to replace the governor springs and reset timing. When I ask how do we do that? He said he had no idea and suggested you tube. At that point we gave up on getting a straight answer from Arlington. Long story short we finally figured out the “ work around” but it took a week longer than anticipated. Suggestion have your salespeople get training on how to sell the correct replacement motor for specific brands. I will not be purchasing from you again.
