I HAVE OWNED AND USED SHINDAIWA 2-STROKE LAWN EQUIPMENT SINCE LATE 80"S. I STILL HAVE TWO T-27'S AND A T-270 AS OUR GO TO TRIMMERS. WE ALSO HAVE SHINDAIWA BACK PACK BLOWER THAT WE HAVE HAD SINCE THE FIRST T-27 WAS PURCHASED, AS WELL AS A HEDGE TRIMMER AND A PUMP SPRAYER THAT WERE PURCHASED LATER AND ARE BOTH OVER 20 YEARS OLD. I BOUGHT THIS TRIMMER JUNE 2020, A BRUSH T-282 TRIMMER AND A BACK PACK BLOWER IN 2019. THESE ITEMS WERE PURCHASED STRICTLY DUE TO NEEDING ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT.THE FIRST EQUIPMENT WE PURCHASED IS STILL OUR FIRST GO TO EQUIPMENT. I "DID NOT EVEN CONSIDER A ANOTHER BRAND" DUE TO HOW SHINDAIWA POWER PRODUCTS HOLD UP"! I ALWAYS PULLED ROUTINE MAINTENANCE PER THE BOOK MYSELF ON ALL OF OUR SHINDAIWA EQUIPMENT AND USED SHINDAIWA OIL EXCLUSIVELY. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS EQUIPMENT "ALWAYS" STARTED EACH SPRING FIRST TIME AND WAS RUN HARD UNTIL THE END OF MOWING SEASON WITH ABSOLUTELY NO ISSUES. THE FIRST TIME TWO T-27 TRIMMERS AND THE FIRST BACK PACK BLOWER WERE IN A REPAIR SHOP SINCE NEW WAS JUNE 2020 AND THAT WAS ONLY BECAUSE I DID NOT HAVE TIME TO REPLACE HAND GRIPS,THROTTLE CABLES ON THE T-27'S OR THE THROTTLE CABLE ON BACK PACK BLOWER MYSELF. FIRST TIME THOSE ITEMS HAD EVER BEEN REPLACED SINCE NEW. SHINDAIWA EQUIPMENT IS DEFINITELY A TOP DEPENDABLE BRAND.
