This pole saw leaks bar oil beyond belief. I bought this saw 9/23/24 but due to surgery and death in family I was unable to use it last fall. In early April 2025 I opened it up, put the chain on and put in the bar oil provided. I went out and used it for ½ an hour and put it up until July. When I went to move it bar oil had leaked out everywhere! When I called Stihl CS I was directed to Bryan Equipment in Ohio. After a day of going back and forth they told me the only thing I could do is empty the bar oil out after each usage! Ridiculous! I expect this if I buy some knock off brand from a dollar store but STIHL? It seems there is some sort of factory defect but customer service evidently thinks there's no problem? "Just empty the oil after each use". Shameful!
