What I really want to review is the customer service from *** (and ***) at Arlington Power Equipment. Both were extremely pleasant and professional. I had an issue where UPS damaged the engine before it was even delivered. On the day it was to be delivered, a Thursday, UPS notified me that they were returning the engine to the sender. I immediately called and spoke to *** who was able to double check what he could do for my situation, and promptly called me back to say a replacement is being sent right away. I had my replacement by Monday evening. I called that same Monday for order status update/tracking info and spoke to *** who was also incredibly pleasant. I was expecting to wait until Tuesday or Wednesday. Outstanding customer service!
Product was a near perfect drop in replacement, fired right up in under an hour start to finish with the old engine already out. Had one tricky engine mounting issue due to the wrench clearance needed on my particular mower. This mounting hole is the "forward-most" (closest to the rider) on the oil/starter side. Also just a heads up, remember muffler gaskets, the actual dual muffler if you don't have one, and of course oil.
